Field Development for Sepehr Oil Field

Within approximately a year of its inception, KOGC facilitated Kayson’s entry into Iran’s lucrative upstream oil and gas sector in 2014, with successful negotiation and award of Field Development for Sepehr Oil Block for Arvandan Oil and Gas Co., one of NIOC operators in Khuzestan Province, Iran. The development was abandoned at the time, due to NIOC’s shift of upstream priorities toward shared border fields rather than in-land blocks such as Sepehr.
